What’s the role of the Financial Editor at Ditto?
We’re looking to scale our organic traffic at Ditto in a bid to improve lead generation. As an editor-writer, you’ll be responsible for writing comprehensive, in-depth explainers into all things insurance & finance. You’ll also be working closely with the SEO team to find the best keywords & blog structures to deliver maximum impact.
The perfect candidate is someone who not only has a profound understanding of finance but also possesses the creativity and narrative skills required to transform dry financial data & insurance keywords into engaging stories. This person should be adept at identifying the pulse of Indian millennials, crafting content that is not just informative but also relatable and entertaining.
What will you be working on as a Financial Editor?
Generate engaging and informative content for Ditto’s blogs
Lead all content initiatives like product explainers, policy comparisions, insurance pillar pages etc. for the Ditto blog articles
Edit and proofread content pieces created by writers
Collaborate with the SEO team to rank our blog on search engines for high-volume keywords
Oversee and mentor a team of writers to ensure content quality and alignment with SEO best practices.
Keep up with important trends in the insurance world to deliver high-impact articles
Analyse lead generation from search engines and craft strategies to build better search volume for Ditto
What are we looking for?
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Journalism, Communications, or a related field. A background in finance is preferred.
• Over 3 years of experience in content creation, preferably in the fintech or financial services industry.
• Exceptional writing and editing skills, with a knack for adapting tone and style to suit various platforms and audiences.
• Proven ability to translate complex financial concepts into clear, engaging content.
