What is the product team supposed to do?

  • Product Updates Management: Lead the understanding, assessment, and communication of product updates to ensure seamless integration across the organisation.

  • Cross-functional Coordination: Collaborate with external partners and internal teams to clarify updates and ensure consistent implementation.

  • Training & Support: Provide training and support to teams on product updates, including handling any potential challenges and offering practical solutions.

  • Content Management: Oversee the maintenance of digital content on websites and platforms, ensuring that all product information is up-to-date and accurate.

  • Data & Metrics Management: Regularly update key operational metrics and product-related data to reflect the latest performance insights on the insurers.

  • Knowledge Repository Maintenance: Build and manage a comprehensive repository of product information, including FAQs and guides, to support internal teams.
  • Communication & Documentation: Work with marketing and communication teams to ensure all public-facing materials are aligned with product knowledge.

  • Consistent Messaging: Ensure consistency in recommendations and messaging across various teams and customer touchpoints.

  • Problem Solving: Address any product-related queries or issues, providing clear guidance and solutions across teams.


Roles and Responsibilities

  • Team Leadership & Development:
    Lead, mentor, and develop the product knowledge team, setting clear goals and fostering continuous improvement in performance and processes.

  • Strategic Oversight & Cross-functional Coordination:
    Develop strategies for managing product updates and knowledge dissemination, ensuring smooth implementation across teams (marketing, sales, operations) and consistent communication.

  • Product Knowledge Governance & Training:
    Oversee the maintenance of the product knowledge repository, ensuring all information is accurate and up-to-date. Design and implement training programs to prepare internal teams for product changes and updates.

  • Operational Efficiency & Stakeholder Communication:
    Ensure timely updates to internal tools, websites, and customer-facing platforms while acting as the primary point of contact for both internal teams and external partners. Provide clear communication to senior leadership on key activities and updates.

  • Risk Management & Continuous Improvement:
    Anticipate risks related to product updates, manage escalations, and drive quick issue resolution. Identify and implement improvements to enhance team efficiency and stay aligned with industry best practices.

Our Interview Process: 

We would like to help you minimise your time and effort. There are 4 rounds & we will be working towards completing all the rounds within a maximum of 2 weeks time.
